Nut Supplier Says It Fixed $1.5M Payment Hack Suit

Law360, New York (July 17, 2017, 3:19 PM EDT) -- A Mexican nut distributor sought Friday to revamp its claims that a pecan wholesaler tricked into transferring payments to a hacker still owes the distributor roughly $1.5 million, telling a Texas federal judge the revised allegations address issues the wholesaler raised in seeking to shake the suit.

Chihuahua, Mexico-based distributor J.F. Nut Co. said it disagrees with many of the arguments advanced by Texas-based wholesaler San Saba Pecan Exports Corp. but has tweaked the allegations to resolve some deficiencies the distributor does acknowledge. J.F. Nut said...
