GoToMeeting Maker Hit With Video Conference Patent Suit

Law360, New York (November 22, 2011, 5:51 PM EST) -- An intellectual property licensing company hit software maker Citrix Systems Inc. with a patent infringement suit in Florida on Monday, claiming the company's popular GoToMeeting remote meeting software violates several patents for video conferencing technology.

The suit, filed by Alexandria, Va.-based Pragmatus AV LLC in Florida federal court, claims that Citrix has violated four patents covering various aspects of video conferencing, including synchronization, recording and the transfer of data.
