USPTO's Final Rules Ease Fears About New Review System

Law360, New York (August 14, 2012, 10:33 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office's final rules issued Monday for the new patent review system mandated by the America Invents Act have put to rest some fears that the system would be burdensome to parties, with experts saying Tuesday that among other things, the guidance makes clear that litigation-scale discovery won't be an option.
