Schulman is the Washington patent lawyer said by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to have divulged confidential information about the acquisition of a client while intoxicated, a source confirmed to Law360 Tuesday.

Schulman's name surfaced in Friday's SEC insider trading action against Tibor Klein, an investment adviser who allegedly purchased King Pharmaceuticals Inc. stock shortly before the firm was bought by Pfizer Inc. for $3.6 billion.
