By Daniel Wilson (July 7, 2015, 6:05 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Senate voted unanimously on Tuesday to confirm Finnegan Henderson Farabow Garrett & Dunner LLP partner Kara Farnandez Stoll to the Federal Circuit bench, filling a slot that had been left vacant by the abrupt departure of former Chief Judge Randall Rader.
Senators confirmed Stoll, whose nomination has been pending since November when President Barack Obama put her name forward, following Judge Rader stepping down from the bench at the end of June 2014 amid a self-admitted ethical lapse, in a unanimous 95-0 vote.
