China's Patent Prosecution Highway: Tips For US Applicants

Law360, New York (August 13, 2015, 10:17 AM EDT) -- China implemented a Patent Prosecution Highway program to expedite examination of invention patent applications in December 2011. By the end of December 2014, the China State Intellectual Property Office had received 9,587 requests for expedited examination via the PPH program, among which 3,190 were filed by U.S. applicants. SIPO officials believe the number of requests will keep growing as applicants realize the significant benefits of time and costs savings....
