Adidas Sues Juicy Couture In Latest Fight Over 3-Stripe Mark

Law360, New York (March 20, 2017, 2:51 PM EDT) -- Adidas hit Juicy Couture with a lawsuit Friday for selling apparel that allegedly infringes the company's "three-stripe" trademark, the latest case in a litigation spree for the German sneaker giant.

Adidas AG says Juicy Couture Inc. signed an agreement in 2009 that it would not sell apparel featuring "parallel stripes along the sleeves and down the pant legs," but that the clothing company has abruptly reneged on the promise.
