Patent Suits Fall, IPRs Spike At Start Of 2017

Law360, New York (April 12, 2017, 3:50 PM EDT) -- Fewer patent lawsuits were filed in the first three months of 2017 than in any quarter since 2011, while the number of inter partes review petitions challenging patents reached a record high, according to a report released Thursday by legal analytics firm Lex Machina.
