LeClairRyan Beats Ex-Blood Test Exec's Malpractice Suit

Law360 (August 9, 2019, 2:52 PM EDT) -- A Virginia state court has thrown out a $603 million malpractice suit against LeClairRyan brought by the ex-CEO of defunct blood test company Health Diagnostic Laboratory Inc., saying her case rested on arguments that had already been heard and rejected by another court.

Judge C.N. Jenkins ruled that Latonya Mallory could not relitigate issues already decided in a suit brought by the government in which Mallory was found to be responsible for $17 million in Medicare fraud.
