Firms Ready To Hire Summer Associates, Even With Late Start

Law360 (September 7, 2020, 8:02 PM EDT) -- Despite the disruptions caused by the coronavirus pandemic, summer associate recruiting remained fairly strong in 2020, a Law360 survey has found, with nearly three-quarters of law students responding that they had received offers to return next year.

Seventy-four percent of the summer associates who participated in the survey, released Monday, said they had received assurance from their law firms to come back, either as summer associates again next year, or as full-time associates following graduation.
