Rutgers-Camden's Recruiting Email Deserves Sanctions: Suit

Law360, New York (January 2, 2013, 6:00 PM EST) -- Law School Transparency, a nonprofit education organization, filed a complaint with the American Bar Association on Monday urging it to levy sanctions against Rutgers School of Law-Camden for allegedly issuing a recruitment email with misleading alumni employment data.

The email said top students in the class of 2011 earned more than $130,000 and pegged legal employment for graduates employed within nine months of graduation at 90 percent, according to LST, but the statistics were “grossly exaggerated” and violated an ABA standard requiring law schools to publish...
