Indicted Texas Judge Claims Immunity From Criminal Charges

Law360, Houston (July 10, 2013, 5:13 PM EDT) -- A troubled Texas judge said Monday that criminal indictments alleging he abused his office by retaliating against lawyers practicing in his court lack evidentiary support and should be dismissed because as a member of the judiciary, he is immune from prosecution.
