Pillsbury Winthrop Cuts 35 Staffers Amid Changing Biz Needs

Law360, New York (September 6, 2013, 5:38 PM EDT) -- Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP has cut approximately 35 support staffers in a belt-tightening effort to reduce what the firm described as “elevated” staffing levels in light of changing business needs, the firm said Friday.

In a statement, Rick Donaldson, Pillsbury partner and chief operating officer, said the firm laid off the approximately 35 support staff and paraprofessional positions in various offices, departments and sections on Wednesday.
