Kirkland Seals $375M Procurian Deal For Accenture

Law360, New York (October 3, 2013, 3:55 PM EDT) -- Global consulting firm Accenture announced Thursday it will pay $375 million in a deal brokered by Kirkland & Ellis to acquire Procurian Inc., a Pennsylvania-based company specializing in procurement services, as the firm continues to grow its service capabilities.

The cash purchase from cloud computing provider ICG Group will strengthen Accenture’s standing in procurement business process outsourcing (BPO) across the consumer goods, technology and financial services industry, said Mike Salvino, the company’s group chief executive for BPO.
