Carlton Fields Attorney Dies In Scuba Diving Accident

Law360, Los Angeles (November 14, 2016, 10:00 PM EST) -- A Carlton Fields attorney who worked in the firm's Tampa, Florida, office died Sunday from injuries believed to be related to a scuba diving incident over the weekend in the Gulf of Mexico, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.

Blaise N. Gamba, 37, worked as a commercial litigation associate in the areas of energy, health care and securities and derivatives. In a statement, Carlton Fields commemorated Gamba as "an outstanding litigator and a trusted advocate for our clients" as well as "a leader and champion for the firm's pro bono efforts."
