NY Gov. To Nominate First Openly LGBT Judge To High Court

Law360, New York (June 15, 2017, 6:38 PM EDT) -- New York Democratic Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo plans to nominate Justice Paul G. Feinman to serve on the Empire State’s highest court as an associate judge, the governor’s office announced on Thursday. If confirmed, he will be the first openly LGBT judge to the sit on the high court’s bench.
