Justice Gap Demands Look At New Legal Service Models

In late June, Florida's Special Committee to Improve the Delivery of Legal Services submitted its final report to the state Supreme Court, recommending that Florida adopt a law practice innovation laboratory program, based on the model for a regulatory sandbox currently being used in Utah.[1]

A few days later, Michael Cherry, chair of Washington state's Practice of Law Board, met with the justices of the Washington Supreme Court to present a blueprint for a legal regulatory sandbox in the state.[2]
