Sens. Probe Role Of Rite Aid Wellness Ambassadors

Law360, New York (March 9, 2012, 5:44 PM EST) -- Two Democratic U.S. senators on Thursday demanded to know more about Rite Aid Corp.’s “wellness ambassadors” stationed at the company’s drugstores, alleging they could direct unsuspecting customers into buying dietary supplements, which haven’t been evaluated by federal drug regulators, to treat medical conditions.
