Deals Rumor Mill: Unilever, Banorte, Trimco International

Law360, New York (December 5, 2017, 5:37 PM EST) -- Platinum Equity is planning to make an offer to buy part of the multibillion-dollar margarine and spreads unit of European consumer goods giant Unilever, according to a Tuesday report from Reuters. The Los Angeles-based investment firm only wants to acquire the part of the business that serves developed markets like the U.S. and Europe, the report said.
