Widow Asks Fla. Justices To Allow Wrongful Death Damages

Law360, Miami (April 24, 2017, 6:15 PM EDT) -- The widow of a man who died of mesothelioma asked the Florida Supreme Court on Friday to reverse a decision cutting her out of loss of consortium damages under the state's wrongful death law because the two were not married at the time of his initial injury.
