Ex-Quiksilver Exec Fights Bid To Nix Severance Deals

Law360, New York (October 1, 2015, 8:29 PM EDT) -- The former chief marketing officer for Quiksilver filed an objection Wednesday in Delaware bankruptcy court indicating that the sportswear retailer is attempting to nix severance agreements it has with executives who have left the company.

Nicholas Drake, who left Quiksilver in 2014, said in the objection that the company is seeking authority from the bankruptcy court to reject separation agreements it has with all similarly situated employees.
