RadioShack Cleared To Move Ahead With Ch. 11 Sale Plans

Law360, Wilmington (April 10, 2017, 8:10 PM EDT) -- RadioShack’s bankruptcy successor lined up terms for the sale of at least a third of its 1,500 remaining stores Monday, under a schedule that will cut off bids on April 17 and take the results to a hearing one week later.

Delaware's Bankruptcy Judge Brendan L. Shannon approved the proposal outlined by attorneys for General Wireless Operations Inc., with a caveat that he was prepared to order more time for some sites if needed.

General Wireless had assumed Radio Shack’s remaining assets through a bankruptcy in 2015, but circled back to Chapter 11 on March 8.
