Puerto Rico Gov. Challenges Fed Board's Legal Authority

Law360 (July 5, 2018, 5:43 PM EDT) -- Puerto Rico Gov. Ricardo Rosselló filed suit Thursday in the island's bankruptcy-like cases to challenge a federal board's authority to impose budget cuts and austerity measures in long-term fiscal plans for the commonwealth, saying it does not have the power to make local policy decisions.
