Ways And Means To Mark Up 2nd Tax Overhaul Package

By Joshua Rosenberg (September 7, 2018, 5:05 PM EDT) -- The House Ways and Means Committee will take under consideration and mark up "tax reform 2.0" legislation on Thursday, committee Chairman Kevin Brady, R-Texas, said Friday.

After releasing the final text of the 2.0 package earlier in the week, which will consist of three bills meant to make permanent the individual tax cuts included in the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, the committee will meet Thursday to approve the legislation and prepare it for a vote before the full House later in the month, according to Brady.
