High Court Snubs Michigan Health Plan Tax Dispute

Law360, New York (January 9, 2017, 6:55 PM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court declined Monday to take up Self-Insurance Institute of America Inc.'s challenge to a Michigan tax on health insurance plans, despite having told a lower appeals court in March to reconsider its upholding of the tax.
