Privacy Groups Urge FTC To Regulate 'Internet of Things'

Law360, New York (June 3, 2013, 6:55 PM EDT) -- Privacy advocates warned the U.S. Federal Trade Commission this weekend about the potential data security hazards of increasingly prevalent Internet-connected devices, such as cars and home appliances, as the agency prepares for a November workshop on the so-called “Internet of Things.”
