PTAB Reaches ‘Unusual’ Decision On Parking Meter Patent

Law360, New York (March 28, 2017, 7:35 PM EDT) -- The Patent Trial and Appeal Board on Monday upheld several claims in an IPS Group Inc. patent covering an electronic parking meter, though the board, in a decision it acknowledged was “unusual,” invalidated a couple of the patent’s other claims.
