Kaspersky Lab To Pull Microsoft Antitrust Complaints

Law360, New York (August 11, 2017, 4:04 PM EDT) -- Cybersecurity software provider Kaspersky Lab AO said Thursday it would withdraw its antitrust complaints in Europe and Russia against Microsoft Corp. after the technology giant agreed to work more closely with antivirus providers on future Windows updates.

The Russian software firm had accused Microsoft of abusing its dominance in complaints it brought to the European Commission and Germany's Federal Cartel Office in June and to Russia's Federal Antimonopoly Service in 2016.
