Order on Motion to Proceed In Forma Pauperis - Appeal
ENDORSED ORDER: Under Federal Rule of Appellate Procedure 24(a), Jackson may not appeal in forma pauperis if this Court certifies that his appeal is not taken in good faith. Jackson's appeal is not taken in good faith because he fails to raise a non-frivolous question for review. See Bilal v. Driver, 251 F.3d 1346, 1349 (11th Cir. 2001) ("A claim is frivolous if it is without arguable merit either in law or fact."). Accordingly, Jackson's motion for leave to appeal in forma pauperis (Doc. 16) is DENIED. Jackson is assessed the full $605 appellate filing fee. Any future request to proceed in forma pauperis should be sent directly to the Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. See Fed. R. App. P. 24(a)(5). Signed by Judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle on 7/16/2026. (GTD)
