Order on Motion for Extension of Time to File Order on Motion for Miscellaneous Relief
TEXT ORDER: The Court has already granted the Plaintiff's next friend extraordinary solicitude as she litigates pro se on behalf of her son. Based on her apparent difficulties accessing and organizing documents, relayed in her latest motion for an extension of time (DN 75 ), the Court grants the motion and extends the deadline to file a final brief to 9/8/2026. The Court will not, however, grant any further extensions absent credible proof of extraordinary circumstances, which does NOT include confusion over electronic file names. The Court will also not order any further assistance accessing documents from the Clerk's Office. The docket entries that are the subject of this dispute reflect documents filed by the Defendants, and the Clerk's Office, as a courtesy, forwarded copies to Plaintiff's next friend. Any disputes about the contents, organization, completeness, or accuracy of these documents are therefore something that the pro se parent should discuss with the Defendants, not with the Court's staff. To the extent the Plaintiff's next friend believes important evidence is not currently available on the docket, she may supplement her final brief with additional evidentiary submissions, which the Court will consider to the extent legally appropriate. Finally, in the same vein, the Court will not order further clarification about the organization of documents on the docket and denies the request for further clarification regarding exhibit docketing. (DN 76 ).
