Status Report Order ~Util - Set/Reset Deadlines/Hearings
MINUTE ORDER: The Court has reviewed the 31 Joint Notice. Despite the Court's order that the Plaintiffs provide specific information about why they cannot comply with the Court's meet-and-confer order, the Plaintiff Jason Leopold states only that he has a variety of in-person professional meetings. The Court notes that the Plaintiff Jason Leopold chose to commence this lawsuit and the Court expects him to make himself available to prosecute it. Going forward, if the Plaintiff cannot comply with a Court order, the Court expects him to explain what his specific conflicts are and why they cannot be rescheduled. The Court ORDERS the Parties to meet and confer in person by July 31, 2026, and to file a joint status report by August 7, 2026. The Court reschedules the status conference to August 11, 2026, at 10:00AM. The Court expects the Plaintiffs to be present at the status conference. Signed by Judge Sparkle L. Sooknanan on 6/26/2026.
