Re: 121 Stipulation re Electronic Discovery Protocol.
Parties are permitted to agree to discovery procedures, including stipulations governing electronically stored information ("ESI"), without judicial approval. See Fed. R. Civ. P. 29(b); see also Cross v. Walmart, Inc., 350 F.R.D. 395, 398-99 (D. Nev. 2025) (explaining that parties may agree among themselves to discovery-related stipulations that do not interfere with court proceedings or deadlines). The stipulation does not explain in meaningful fashion why judicial oversight is required as to the parties discovery agreement.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that the parties stipulation (ECF No. 121 ) is denied without prejudice.
