New 9th Circ. Chief Judge Thomas Takes Over From Kozinski

Law360, Los Angeles (December 5, 2014, 7:13 PM EST) -- The Ninth Circuit changed its leadership this week, with new Chief Judge Sidney R. Thomas assuming the role after Judge Alex Kozinski stepped down following a seven-year term, and a ceremonial passing of the gavel was held Friday to mark the transition.
