IBM, SuperSpeed Settle Computer Patent Spat

Law360 (May 6, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In a legal tussle that dragged out more than two years, IBM Corp. has reached a deal to resolve a suit filed by software firm SuperSpeed LLC that accused the computer giant of infringing patents related to computer data caching.

Magistrate Judge Charles Everingham of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Wednesday signed off on an order dismissing with prejudice all claims and cross-claims SuperSpeed and IBM had brought against each other.
