Investor In Wine Distributor Wants $28M Award OK'd

Law360, Miami (January 18, 2018, 9:20 PM EST) -- An investor in a Chilean wine distributor urged a Florida federal court Wednesday to confirm a $28 million arbitration award against a controlling shareholder who the investor says has been dodging service in multiple countries in an attempt to avoid paying the award.

In a filing in the Southern District of Florida, the investor, EGI-VSR LLC, said the court should reject Juan Coderch's assertions that he has not been properly served with process at his home in Paraguay.
