Testimony Tying Suicide, Pfizer Epilepsy Drug OK'd

Law360 (May 7, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The federal judge presiding over the multidistrict litigation alleging that Neurontin causes behavioral disturbances has rejected Pfizer Inc.'s bid to exclude expert testimony linking the epilepsy drug to suicide.

On Tuesday, Judge Patti Saris of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts issued a 96-page opinion, finding that the plaintiffs had proved the reliability of the expert testimony.
