CB&I Can't Escape Liability Suit Over Pa. Cleanup

Law360, New York (May 13, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has refused Chicago Bridge & Iron Co.'s bid for summary judgment in an environmental cleanup case brought by railcar and barge maker Trinity Industries Inc. claiming the steel engineering and construction firm is liable for cleanup costs at a Pennsylvania manufacturing site.

Judge Gary L. Lancaster of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania ruled Monday that Dallas-based Trinity had sufficiently pled its case, allowing the suit to continue.
