Pilots’ Pension Suit Tossed Back to District Court

Law360, New York (September 14, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A lawsuit filed by a class of former U.S. Airways pilots’ claiming they are owed interest on the time when they waited for their pension plan to arrive has been reversed in part and remanded to the lower court by the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Under the Employment Retirement Income Security Act provisions, the pilots alleged six different causes of action in the lawsuit.
