Oil Co. Fails To Get US’ 'Prop Washing' Suit Tossed

Law360, New York (May 14, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal court has refused to dismiss a suit brought by the U.S. government against Rutherford Oil Corp. and one of its marine tug operators for allegedly discharging pollutants into Texas' Galveston Bay, ruling that the suit does not need to name additional marine contractors in order to proceed.
