IOC Lifts Russian Team's Suspension After 2018 Olympics

Law360 (February 28, 2018, 6:45 PM EST) -- The International Olympic Committee on Wednesday lifted the Russian Olympic team’s suspension after all the remaining test results from a team of neutral Russian Olympic athletes at the Pyeongchang, South Korea, games came back negative for banned substances.

Wednesday’s announcement comes days after the committee refused to lift the suspension in time for the closing ceremony of the 2018 Winter Games on Sunday. The IOC at the time said it would not lift the suspension after two neutral athletes failed doping tests at the games....
