Ariz. AG Sues Gannett Over Newspaper's Closure

Law360 (May 18, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Newspaper companies Gannett Co. Inc. and Lee Enterprises Inc. ran afoul of antitrust laws when they agreed to close the Tucson Citizen and share the profits from the only other daily local paper in the Tucson, Ariz., area, the Arizona Daily Star, according to a lawsuit filed on behalf of the state of Arizona.
