Woman Says Faulty P&G Tide Pod Exploded In Her Bra

Law360 (March 13, 2018, 1:41 PM EDT) -- A New Jersey woman has accused Procter & Gamble Co. of manufacturing a defective single-load pack of laundry detergent that exploded in her bra and chemically burned her.

Consumer Dana Arevalo took the Tide Pod from her children in 2015 and stashed it in her bra while walking to the laundry room, according to a complaint removed to federal court Friday. On the way there, the product exploded and burned her skin, the suit says.
