Another Texas County Sues Arkema Over Harvey Damage

Law360 (March 13, 2018, 5:30 PM EDT) -- Liberty County, Texas, filed a lawsuit against Arkema Inc. in state district court, seeking more than $1 million in damages, alleging that after the company's liquid organic peroxide plant caught fire in the wake of historic flooding from Hurricane Harvey, there were chemical releases that contaminated the county's air and water.
