DirecTV Customers Sue Over Contract Extensions

Law360, New York (May 19, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Satellite television provider DirecTV Inc. has been hit with a purported class action from consumers over its policy of extending customer contracts whenever they modify or replace equipment and imposing early termination fees on those who wish to end their service.
