NeoMeridian Claims Designer Appropriated Modem IP

Law360 (May 21, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- NeoMeridian Sdn. Bhd. has launched a suit against Wideband Semiconductor Inc., claiming the communications designer backed out of an agreement to design a modem device and instead used intellectual property it developed under the agreement to create and market its own products.

NeoMeridian filed suit in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on Wednesday, accusing Wideband of breaching several contracts between the parties and of misappropriating trade secrets.
