Investors Fight To Protect $10M In CDX Ch. 11

Law360 (May 22, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A group of investors has sued bankrupt CDX Gas LLC and its affiliates in an effort to protect $10 million related to a legal battle over equity interests prior to the Houston-based oil and gas company's Chapter 11 filing.

The adversary complaint, filed Thursday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas, is seeking a declaratory judgment that the money, held in an escrow account, is not at the disposal of the debtors' bankruptcy estate.
