Punitive Damages Bid OK'd In Patient Bedsore Death Suit

Law360 (April 9, 2018, 9:11 PM EDT) -- A nursing home accused of being responsible for the death of a patient from complications arising from severe bedsores should face a claim for punitive damages, a Pennsylvania federal judge ruled Monday, saying the allegations, if proven, warrant an award for punitive damages under state law.
