Sixth Circuit Remands Part Of LexisNexis Case

Law360 (September 18, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Though its copyright infringement claims against LexisNexis Group were dismissed yet again, legal software company LawMode got a small break when the Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit remanded its breach-of-contract claim back to district court.

LawMode filed a seven-count complaint against Lexis in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan in 2002 after Lexis terminated a contract in which the companies agreed LawMode would supply form templates to Lexis.
