Goodyear Seeks Sanctions In Greyhound Crash Suit

Law360 (May 27, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. on Wednesday asked a federal judge to sanction Greyhound Lines Inc. for its alleged failure to comply with a prior discovery agreement in a suit brought by the bus operator claiming that a faulty tire caused a costly bus accident.

Greyhound sued Goodyear in June 2008 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama, alleging that a 2006 tire blowout in Alabama caused its bus to leave Interstate 85 and crash into trees 50 feet from the road....
