Panasonic Wants Samsung Sanctioned In Antitrust Suit

Law360 (April 18, 2018, 4:42 PM EDT) -- Panasonic Corp. asked a California federal court on Tuesday to sanction Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. over a suit alleging Panasonic monopolized the flash memory card market, arguing that Samsung initiated and maintained the eight-year-old litigation in bad faith.

Panasonic filed a motion for sanctions seeking to recover $8.15 million in attorneys’ fees and costs it incurred while defending against the suit that was filed in 2010.
